We were very positively surprised from small restaurant in small village in the middle of nowhere. Steak was the best what I ever had. Grilled chicken had very good smell of the wood. Spanish traditional desserts were delicious and waiters were great and funny :). Price was low and all together were excellent. Once you get sick of seafood or you want to visit Puno de Teno, You must visit this place :)

Came across this restaurant whilst out walking - was fully booked ( public holiday?)but did stop for a drink. Returned a couple of days later, no reservation and much quieter when we arrived at 12.30 - but again, by 2pm was full and people waiting outside. Chorizo bread and grilled cheese for starters, chicken and steak for mains, caramel cheesecake to share for dessert - all delicious but very filling! Very friendly waiting staff and nice atmosphere. We needed to wait outside approx 15 minutes , although there were some empty tables inside. I think less people were working inside and they wanted to give the best service, that is why!Now the food! We ordered for two persons:1st person: Menu of the day2nd person:ConsomméSmall house saladGrilled CheeseChickpeas stew (half)Beans stew (half)WineFortunately I was the second person! When we were ordering, the manager told us with a smile that it would be a lot of food. We told if we couldn’t eat, we could take away. But we finished everything! and the manager was little suprised, I think! Best food! Must try, I believe! And the manager was very nice, funny and professional. I wish I could come again. I needed to learn the spanish instant and said to the manager- 'Estoy muy contenta'!!
